Good to see Brian McCann back in the lineup. He may not be quite 100% but felt good enough to go. Freddie Freeman is still out with eye issues, and apparently getting pretty frustrated about it which is certainly understandable. For St. Louis, David Freese is out of today's game with a hand injury. He's day-to-day.
Atlanta will need a good start from Tommy Hanson, as the Cardinals have scored 186 runs in innings 1‐6 this season, first in the Majors.
