Lots of news to report on the status of players. After pinch-hitting last night (which probably wasn't the best idea in the world) Chipper Jones' leg feels worse than it did. The bruise is apparently getting worse, so he'll be out a couple more days at least.
Brian McCann is still feeling under the weather, and will miss his third straight game with flu-like symptoms. Freddie Freeman is still having issues with his contacts, and has sport glasses on the way according to David O'Brien. Apparently he was having a hard time picking up the ball last night on throws.
Atlanta is trying to avoid the first four-game sweep at the hands of the Reds since 1980.
