A rare fog out has suspended the opening game of a four-game set with the Carolina Mudcats and Braves high-A affiliate, The Lynchburg Hillcats. Lynchburg was pulled off the field after two consecutive wild pitches caused concern for the players safety due to lack of visibility. The game was stopped after both managers met with the umpiring crew during the top of the fifth inning with the Mudcats leading 4-1. A 30-minute delay ensued before the game was offically suspended until tomorrow.
