Last week I posted on TC about the Braves pitching staff. My original article can be found here, and the TC discussion can be found here. Now I'm taking a closer look at Jair Jurrjens and his little toe joint. My verdict? He's a better MLB pitcher than fantasy baseball ace. With a poor K/9 for fantasy, and an increase in his HR/FB over the last two years, he's really only a #3 SP and not the elite ace his stats claimed he was in the first half of 2011. As with last time, I invite your wrath to prove me wrong. =-) Bear in mind it IS a fantasy baseball perspective first and foremost.
