Because we should. Just look at these numbers. He crushes lefties, and has killed NL competition in the past. He's 27, and will be cheap, so there is even the potential you find a diamond in the rough ready to break out late, which he showed signs of in 2010.
Plus, he's been doing this for a long time, and is a professional.
The Braves need to sign Delmon Young for LF. Considering their splits, he'd be at worst the platoon option with Juan Francisco, if not demand the job full time.
