The Yankees have lucked out beyond belief to once again win the American League east and in this writer's opinion, will win the American League overall this year and get to the world series.

But not so fast Yanks: the Atlanta Braves will be meeting you in the final 7 game series to take revenge on the loss that haunts them so much: the 1996 world series.

If we can all think back to that series for a second: the Braves had the best team in baseball, BY FAR and were coming off of a 1995 world series win against the Indians. Atlanta took games 1 and 2 in NY and were set-up perfectly for a sweep and then, with some bad decisions and tough breaks. lost four in a row and the Braves haven't been the same since.

This year, mark my words, the Atlanta Braves will meet the New York Yankees in the world series and win in 6 games. You heard it here first.
