He lost weight last year and had a career year.

I’m guessing the Giants are hoping he does as well or almost as well this year. He actually did well for the Royals on offense with a 305/339/470 line and 121 OPS+. He even stole 20 bases and how many Braves did that? What pisses me off was he had the worst year of his career with the Braves. Got to give a lot of credit to the Royals hitting coach, Seizer is his name. He has done some good work there. I don’t know anything or even who S.F."s hitting coach is.

It’s Hensley Meulens. He claims to emphasize patient hitting, a message that never seems to actually get through to the hitters. He also speaks five languages. That’s about all I know.

I’m kinda meh about Melky. He’s not a bad-looking guy, but he doesn’t push my buttons.

I know. And like I said, he’s not a bad-looking dude. But something just isn’t there. I don’t know. Maybe his dimples. They freak me out a little.

The larger point is, where the hell is Brian? He needs to get into some kind of scandal so I can see more of him in the media.

I could see that. He’s a very handsome guy when the bottom half of his face isn’t being consumed by hair. That said, his intensity is a bit much for me. But you know, different strokes and all.
