Your description is a little misleading. But thank the stars this rumor is no more for the Braves.
Braves.
Falcons.
Gamecocks.
Unless the A’s just got him so they could flip him to us…..dun dun DUNNNNNNN!
If we can land [Stephen Drew], I will give FW a bj.

Where even buried horses are beaten :)
"He knows where he's throwing. If he didn't, there'd be dead bodies strewn all over Idaho." - Washington Senators scout on Walter Johnson
No, no
They are beaten, then beaten some more, then buried, then dug-up and beaten again, then buried again.
This process continues until said horse has been retired from baseball for at least 3 years (See Ken Griffey Jr., see also Manny Ramirez)
All while Fredi is surrounded by a bunch of orangutans, trying to teach them how to bunt the rocks and coconuts that angry 300 lb gorillas are throwing at them,

Seriously I was thinking of something similar
How bout Jurrjens to the A’s for Pennington, Grant Green and Yordy Cabrera.
Why would the A's want jurrjens?
He is clearly not in line with timeframe they are aiming for. They just traded gio, and are looking to compete years from now, when they move to San Jose.
Jurrjens for San Jose straight up?
Braves.
Falcons.
Gamecocks.
I agree, with your line of thinking in terms of that they wouldn't want JJ
Unless there was a 3-way lol……
I do like any deal that involves Green though, their SS/CF/2B prospect LOL. He seems to have the frame and batting skills, from what I remember, to possibly also make the transition to 3rd. He is a very talented hitter at the plate, but he could use a little work on his plate discipline.
Michael Choice would also be a great prospect to Center a deal around, but I highly doubt the A’s are going to let the slugger go considering the staff’s supposed love jones for the guy.
I would say a Grant Green, Jerry Blevins, and say a Chris Carter for JJ would suffice very strongly for the Bravos…Any thoughts??
Sometimes I wake up grumpy; other times I let her sleep.

Don't want Carter at all
I just don’t see a fit where the A’s would want him, and if they did, I don’t know that they’d be willing to offer the guys that would help the Braves enough to make it worth it for the Braves end.
Hey! I’m new.

I'm always dragging that horse around.
All of his questions such a mournful sound.
Tonight I’m gonna bury that horse in the ground.
