What the Braves 2012 roster may look like
Something I wrote over on SBN Atlanta, but since we don't really do comments over there, I wondered what you guys thought of the club we have assembled now. Take a look.

Pretty good over view
Enjoyed reading about the actual roster. I think Varvaro might be a step ahead of Cory Gearrin, but either is pretty much fine with me. The final spot on the bench is the question. If Mgmt really considers Heyward able to play CF, it might open a spot for Sutton or Josh Wilson if they have a good spring. If they are not considering Heyward as Bourn’s backup, Constanza or Leo Durando might get a spot. As much as Wren talks about speed, I’d guess those 2 get a good look.
"First!"...Who gives a damn if you are first
Heyward's apparently lost some weight
So it might be possible for him to play CF now, remember he played Center Field when he was younger
Mike Scott was what Willis was talking about.
As CF.....
In the Minors, he has played 6 games as an 18 yr old, 11 games as a 19 yr old.
Not saying he can’t do it, just saying it would be a leap of faith. If Bourn went down for more than a game ot two, I think they’d certainly have somebody besides Heyward for CF.

If Melky Cabrera is a Major League CF
than Heyward certainly should be a solid fill in there

I don’t think they’d considered Heyward for anything other than right field. And if Bourn goes down for a long period, we’ll have bigger concerns than if J-Hey can fill in for an inning or two. I’d guess Prado would be the CF in that situation.
