His September has been, by no means, a rousing success. But so far he has a .395 obp. In fact, he already has more walks this month than any month except April despite only starting 10 games so far.
Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but I see it as a sign of hope that Heyward is starting to regain his approach at the plate that made him so valuable last year. Now he just has to work on the .303 slugging in September.
