Streaking Uggla lifts Braves to victory  | ajc.com
"It’s fun, first and foremost," said Uggla of a streak that’s now the fourth longest in Atlanta Braves history. We’ve got some ground to make up with the Phillies, and we’ve got to start pulling away from the western division."

Gonzalez standing by struggling Lowe | Atlanta Braves
"Like any athlete that goes though some tough stretches – hitters go through it, pitchers go through it, bullpen guys go through it, and closers," Gonzalez said. "I think we’re going through that a little bit like that. You ride it out."

Injury Updates:

Jones eyeing Friday return to Braves lineup | Atlanta Braves
"I felt like I could do a little more," Jones said Wednesday morning. "I was a little more active on defense. Running the bases still was a little iffy, but I figured give it today and tomorrow, then Friday would be that much better. Hopefully if it is, and I feel like I’m good enough to get out there and try it."

McCann to throw soon, hitting remains hurdle | braves.com: News
Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez expects Brian McCann to start a throwing program within a few days. McCann left a game on July 26 with a strained left oblique that landed the catcher on the 15-day disabled list. Once McCann throws, swinging a bat will be the last hurdle.
