David Ross Show Episode 4 (1&2)

EDITED 9/8/11 - to add Link to Parts 1 & 2

Our very own David Ross has a new "show" and this is the fourth episode.

Drsmlb

Episode #4 featuring Peter Moylan

Part 2 HERE

David Ross, with a microphone - this is guaranteed to be interesting.

The first episode featured Brian McCann, the second Brandon Beachy, the third Tim Hudson and now the fourth installment features Braves pitcher Peter Moylan.

I wonder who will be in Episode number 5?

These are so much fun, love it.

If we can land [Stephen Drew], I will give FW a bj.

I love how the opening credits sequence gets more elaborate with each iteration.

And he has a set now?

Fun historical note: The mic Moylan rigged up is actually not that outlandish (or wasn’t at one point in time). The earliest lavalier mics were created for the Today show in 1952, and they were essentially foot-long handheld mics attached onto a base that was then worn around the neck. Just like Peter, there. So good on him.

Damn, I miss these guys. David is still major beefcake.

I can’t wait to see how it gets next year. That toothy guy he interviewed said one of our catchers looks bad without a shirt on… can you believe that?

Love the progression of a set, the big A logo and the discretely placed #8 jersey in the background. :-)

We really need to tell the camera guy to use the ZOOM feature. Love the set, but I would have liked a bit more of the faces to see the expressions, etc.

Can’t wait until the next episode.

I want to see what David gets out of Chipper don’t you?

Re: Zooming and camera angles — It would complicate the post-production process, but they could add a second camera. That would allow for multiple views on the one set. And it would snazz up the visual quality.

At one point, they zoomed a bit and I was hoping it would keep going…. perhaps next time.

camera is fine but the sound quality could use some work

I guess these David Ross show clips

are shown before games. I sort of saw this one on the Sunday game against the Cubs, while parading around the field with my mom (which was pretty cool).

"We'll edit that out..."

Nope! Hahaha

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Lol, the sound quality's a little too shotty to get away with at work...

Can’t wait to watch after 5!!!

Like the new intro and the desk he has now lol

here's to AGon as the next guest on "The David Ross Show"

he is straight face and emotionless enough to earn the nickname “seabass.” I would love to see him open up, as the other guest have, and show alittle personality on the show. Likely won’t happen though

Spring Training is the greatest thing that can't end soon enough

Noticed this while looking at my list of FanPosts this morning:

DR Show Post #1 – 11 comments
DR Show Post #2 – 11 comments
DR Show Post #4 – 11 comments (until this one)

Only #3 (Tim Hudson) was able to break through that “ceiling” so far :-)

No problem! Part 2 seemed to be the better half of the interview IMO.

Would like it if these were a few minutes longer. Good stuff.

as a guy losing his hair,

I can appreciate Moylan’s “no top/rear view” camera angles to reveal his thinning (apparently he’s a little self-conscious). haha! so funny as he shuffles off-camera sideways
