Its awesome to see 2d round pick Nick Ahmed really coming around. Given that he’s 21, I wonder if we should expect to see him leap over Matt Lipka to Lynchburg next spring, with Simmons going to Mississippi, and Lipka starting out again in Rome.

I think there’s a very real likelihood that Ahmed goes to Lynchburg, because Lipka definitely needs to be back at Rome.

CB

What can you tell me about Delgado’s attitude and general manner? He seems like a very humble, good guy. I remember the Braves using Teheran as something of a mentor for Vizcaino a year or so ago, how does Delgado compare as a steadying influence?

Randall is really quiet and relaxed. He has fun, but if you see him in a group he’s the quiet guy laughing while other guys are being ridiculous. He’s a thinker and you can see it on the mound. I feel like that’s where some of the walks come from, overthinking things, but I’d never say a young pitcher thinking too much is a bad thing.

There was a lot of offense getting thrown around last night.

William Beckwith is a sleeper prospect in our organization. - yondaime4
