Win Atlanta Braves Tickets To Fields & Reels Outdoorsman Night
We've been doing a lot of free ticket giveaways lately on Talking Chop, and I'm excited to bring you another free ticket giveaway to this Saturday night's Braves game, which is also Outdoorsman Night at Turner Field.
Outdoor Channel (AMERICA'S LEADER IN OUTDOOR TV) and XFINITY TV from Comcast will be teaming up with the Atlanta Braves for a second year in a row to host its pregame "Fields & Reels Outdoorsman Night" expo on Saturday, August 20th.
Kicking off hunting season, Willie Robertson, star of Outdoor Channel's "Buck Commander Protected by Under Armour" and "Benelli Presents Duck Commander," will headline the event with an appearance by former Braves player Ryan Klesko to celebrate the night with area hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. In partnership with XFINITY, the network will offer activities and prizes at a co-branded booth prior to the Braves vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks game at Turner Field.
Additionally, Outdoor Channel HD recently launched in Atlanta on XFINITY Channel 758 as part of the Digital Preferred and Sports & Entertainment tiers.
The fine folks at the Outdoor Channel have provided me with two tickets to Saturday night's game. I'm not sure exactly where they are, but I am told they are in the player's section, so these could be some extra special good tickets. They have also given me five gift packs from Buck Commander to give away, consisting of a hat, bandanas, face paints, and the Buck Commander DVD. That's some pretty awesome prize action, so thatnks to the folks at Outdoor Channel, Comcast, and Buck Commander.
We're going to play our usual pick 'em game to see who will win the tickets (plus a gift pack). The four runners up will also receive a gift pack. In the comments section of this story, post what you think Derek Lowe's line will be tonight in the following format: IP, H, R, BB, SO. So if you think Lowe will throw 6 innings, allowing 7 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts, your post should read: 6,7,2,2,3. As a tie-breaker, also post your guess for the final score: Braves 17, Diamondbacks 2 (or whatever, but Braves are gonna win).
Get your picks posted before game time, as no submissions after that will be counted. The winners will be notified by me by email, and the winner of the tickets will need to get back to me pretty quickly with their name, so I can inform our sponsors and they can leave your tickets at will call. Make sure the email address you have in your profile is correct.
Good luck! And GO BRAVES!

6.2 innings, 7 hits, 4 runs 3 earned, 2 BB, 5 K. Tiebreaker – Braves 5-4.
I will enjoy sitting in the players section. Lowe will get over his 5th inning blues tonight – but won’t make it much further – 6.2 innings.

Hey gondeee,
Is it allowable by TC/contest rules to give away tickets that I receive? I’m both not going to be able to use them on short notice and don’t feel like hogging the goods after the tickets I already won for the Father’s Day game. If not, disregard my entry on the slim chance I end up winning. But if yes, I’ll figure out some fun TC way to get them transferred fast if I do end up winning.

If I win I will not be able to attend the game seeing that I’ll be sprawled out on the beach @ Hilton Head. Please donate my tickets to a worthy soul who’s never experienced the thrill of Atlanta Braves baseball.

Sgt.: Pointed stick? Oh, oh, oh. We want to learn how to defend ourselves against pointed sticks, do we? Getting all high and mighty, eh? Fresh fruit not good enough for you eh? Well I'll tell you something my lad. When you're walking home tonight and some great homicidal maniac comes after you with a bunch of loganberries, don't come crying to me! Now, the passion fruit.
Do we get one of those very understated plaid shirts?

I met that Buck Commander guy at last year's event.
Totally cool guy, very approachable, although somewhat out of place as a hardcore Outdoor guy (to me anyway). It might have been the Bacardi and Coke he was holding in his free hand…

Braves win 4-3.
And if I do win just send me one of the gift bags I already have tickets to tomorrow nights game. Section 138 Row 13 seat #1.
GO BRAVES!
I don't ask for much but all I ask is that you to throw strikes.

Atlanta really can do better than this. 82 years in Boston, 12 in Milwaukee, 45 in Atlanta and this franchise…Love Chipper as a player but the guy’s so hickish. Step it up ATL.

I’m predicting Lowe flirts with a no-no tonight…Heck it’s almost September again. At least if I win, the tie-breaker won’t even matter. Go Braves!

Sweet.
You’ve got mail. I killed a buck last year on opening day here in Alabama with a BuckCommander Flex Tone call. So excited.
