Braves @ Nationals meet up?

I'll be all three of these games 8/1, 8/2 and 8/3 in DC and would love to meet up with any TCers that may be around. I know we've got a fair number of DC area users and there are a couple people going but can't remember exactly who so let me know. And I guess we'll be in for a real treat with Bourn's Braves debut tomorrow! I plan on bringing an "I sign.

I’ll be there tomorrow night. I don’t have a ticket yet, but I plan on using the student discount to sit somewhere in the vicinity of the Braves dugout.

I went to a game last week and used it. I walked up to the ticket office about thirty minutes before the game. I told the cashier where I wanted to sit and that I was using the student discount, showing her my school id (college id from Arkansas, none the less). Initially, she didn’t know about it and started mashing on her keyboard, but she soon gave me the discount without hassle.

Should be 50% off on any seats more expensive than $10, but not as good as the field boxes (right behind the dugouts) or better.

I’m planning to go to the two night games (and maybe Wednesday if I can get out of work). You can probably find me behind the visitor dugouts up to when they starts asking people to get to their seat (which is not a given at Nats games).

Guess I’ll try to grab something maybe in a section behind the boxes on third base… And yeah, last time I was there was Nats – Cubs and I sat behind 1st base even though I was supposed to be on the deck.

If you get near the lower section, I’ll be wearing a blues Braves Heyward shirt around the dugout hopefully. I have red hair, but I’ll probably have on a white cap. Stop by if you see me.

I’m in 115 in a plain old Atlanta Braves shirt (left my jersey at school). 8 rows back. Tall jewish kid with medium length brown hair, no hat… At least I think it’s medium… yeah that sounds right. Hopefully I see you, white hat shouldn’t be that hard to spot.

I'm there Wednesday

May swing by tonight/tomorrow if I can get off work at a decent hour, but I’m trying to get all of Wednesday’s work done today and tomorrow. On Wednesday I’m near the Braves’ dugout.

Was there last night

Easily just as many Braves fans as Nats fans. The chop in the top of the 8th was epic. So many pissed off Nats fans. Loved it (not the outcome of the game, however).

Top of the 9th was even better! Until Rossy decided to swing for the fences and SeaBass decided to… well… bat.
