Here is quick rundown on the braves cap room, I assumed Arb numbers and that Chpper retires and McLouth is bought out of his club option, KK, Linebrink, Proctor, Gonzo, and Sherrill are all leaving. So included in the 73 Million would be the 5 starting pitchers currently used, 6 relief pitchers, starting catcher, backup catcher, 1B, 2B, 3B, RF, 2 infield ULT. So that leaves CF, LF, and back up outfielder as well as a short stop, which could be filled by Pastornicky. Then another utility like Hinske for about a million. So with another 1.5 we are looking around 75 million in need of CF,LF, SS, and 2 relief pitchers. So the braves have the money to make a deal for a player like kemp or upton and will still have room in the cap for a lf and ss, and imagine if the braves could get ride of 10 million or so of Lowe's salary. Thanks to mlb cots, and thoughts on next years roster?
