This off-topic post is one I'm sure you'll love. My father collects Braves cards and Braves objects from a friend at the local flea market. The two are friends, so the dealer doesn't sell high, so my dad buys low but gets a lot. On the night we beat the Mets at Citi Field 6-3, he came home at nine o'clock with a cardboard box full of Braves things. I took pictures of them, and here they are:
The first is a picture of a Javier Lopez-signed baseball in a cylindrical container with a Certificate of Authenticity:

The next one is a picture of the actual ball with the blue signature of Javy Lopez:

The next 3 pictures are an assortment of unorthadox Braves cards. There is a "playing card" with John Smoltz as an ace in 2000. The other one commemmorates Warren Spahn as a Cy Young award winner in the year 2004:

The next one has a 2005 Marcus Giles card and a 2005 Russ Ortiz card:

These next two cards are of Chipper Jones. The one on the right is 2008, while the year of the one on the left is not known:

This next one is of a souvenir batting helmet from Home Depot. The bag is pictured:

This next pic is the back of the actual helmet, showing the Home Depot logo.

This next one is a 1999 series action figure called "To the Majors".

John Smoltz wishes you a Happy Birthday.

The last two pics are an autographed team ball. I don't know what year it is, but I could make out Tom Glavine, Chipper Jones, and Mark Wohlers' signatures on it.

The final picture shows the many card binders and bags my dad has of Braves cards. He also collects Georgia Bulldogs' cards. In the box he brought home, he also had an autographed Mohammad Massaquoi card with his jersey. In my parents' closet there is a Chipper Jones minor-league bobblehead with a Macon Braves uniform on. The bobblehead could not be reached for photography. If you look hard at the picture, on the left of the bottom shelf you'll see a frosted beer mug. Another valuable thing: I got, for $15 from the same dealer that is a friend of my dad, an Albert Pujols with a piece of his jersey card in his high school days. It's in a case that you cannnot open, with a mint grade of 10. I also have a jersey card of Michael Vick, but I treasure that less.

The card my dad undoubtedly treasures the most is an error card. It is a 1990 card with the name Tom Glavine at the top, but a picture of a young John Smoltz.
Hope you liked this post. Go Braves!
