Today's game against Lehigh Valley was rained out and will be made up as part of a Tuesday double header starting at 10:35 AM. Julio Teheran will pitch in the first game, followed by Todd Redmond in the second.

Paul Clemens had his least effective start of the season in the first game of the double header, tossing 40 of his 74 pitches for balls, leading to 4 walks and 3 earned runs in just 3 innings. Tyler Pastornicky had 3 hits, including a double and his fourth homer of the year. After going 1-5 in the second game, the 21 year old is hitting .314 with a .822 OPS on the year. If he keeps it up, there's little reason to believe he won't be move up to Gwinnett by the All-Star break.

The pitching wasn't very good in the second game, as Matt Crim, Richard Sullivan, and Luis Avilan combined to allow 10 runs, 9 earned, over 8.1 innings, but the M-Braves offense picked them up, pounding out 17 hits, 6 of them for extra bases, and scoring 10 runs. Ernesto Mejia combined to go 5-8 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI in the double header, improving his season line to a .290 average and a .840 OPS. Willie Cabrera also had a fine day, combining to go 4-9 with a double, a homer, and 5 RBI, but his season line has been uncharateristic, as he's hit just .257 with a .687 OPS. Jesus Sucre had a nice return from the DL with a 2 hit day. Antoan Richardson went 5-6 in the double header, stealing a bag in each game, and he's been great as the team's leadoff hitter, churning out a .306 average and a .450 OBP.
The M-Braves will open a series with the Tennessee Smokies Tuesday, with Randall Delgado taking the hill.

The Hillcats won in the bottom of the 11th after singles by Adam Milligan and Joe Terdoslavich set up a Joe Leonard walkoff sacrifice fly. The team's other run came off of back to back doubles in the 5th by Barrett Kleinknecht and Shawn McGill. Arodys Vizcaino didn't factor in the decision, but he had another fantastic start, shutting out the Dash over 7 innings, walking none and striking out 5. In his last 3 starts, the 20 year old has a 0.47 ERA, a 0.53 WHIP, 3.3 H/9, 1.4 BB/9, 7.1 K/9, and 5 K/BB.

The R-Braves pitching staff just didn't have it today, as Ronan Pacheco allowed 4 earned runs in 4.1 innings, Steve Kent gave up 6 in 2.1 innings, and Matt Suschak allowed 4 in 2 innings. Only Chasen Shreve escaped clean, recording 1 out and stranding 2 runners to end the top of the 9th. David Rohm stayed hot at the plate, rapping out 3 hits, extending his hitting streak to 7 games. He's gone 13-26 with 4 doubles, 2 triples, a homer, and 12 RBI in those games, that's a .500 average and a 1.423 OPS, which is really good. Jakob Dalfonso had 3 hits as well, including his 4th homer of the year, and he's been hot as well. In his last 10 games he's hit .368 with a 1.151 OPS including all 4 of those homers.
