According to Ross Dellenger of the Clarion Ledger, another player in the Braves organization has been arrested for DUI:

M-Braves CF Mycal Jones was arrested early this morning for DUI in Pearl, police say. Jones has been suspended from M-Braves, team says.

This comes only weeks after Atlanta Braves pitcher Derek Lowe was arrested in Atlanta for a DUI.

This is especially difficult news because Mycal is a player I have grown to know and appreciate in the past year. He has been a longtime Twitter user, and frequently converses with others through Twitter. I interviewed Mycal last year when he played at Myrtle Beach, that interview can be found here.

Seems like a bit of a double standard for the organization to suspend Jones, but not suspend Lowe, for what appears to be the same offense.

My thoughts are with Mycal through what is about to be a difficult time.
