Obviously this isn't going to happen this year or even next year, but am I the only one who hopes Venters gets a shot to win a rotation spot in the coming years?

I know we have tons of starting pitching prospects, but nobody outside of Tehran excites me the way Venters does.  He was a starter in the minors and I read old reports that listed his changeup as his top pitch.  If it didn't work out you could always move him back to the bullpen.

Thoughts?
