Fangraphs rips Fredi a new one...

Apparently, Talking Choppers weren't the only ones that didn't like Fredi's decision to not walk Kemp. The article also goes on to point out that neither DOB or Mark Bowman questioned the decision.

I will take issue with one thing in that article...

Juan Uribe, who is off to a terrible start, was on deck.

I would've had less issues with the decision...

if Fredi’s logic had been “we handled Kemp, and Uribe had been killing us, so pitching to Kemp seemed like a better idea.”

I still wouldn’t have liked it, but it would’ve been more understandable than that “well, I wanted to see if C-Mart could stay ahead in the count on him” drek that he offered up today.
