The (Mississippi) Braves have placed starting pitcher Kenshin Kawakami on the disabled list with a right shoulder strain. KK gave up six earned runs in five innings during his last start on Sunday. When we know the extent of the injury we'll add it to this post.
The M-Braves called up Tim Gustafson to take KK's place in the double-A rotation.
