Clearly Atlanta Braves Manager Fredi Gonzalez hasn't heard the party line coming from the front office: that the team is not trying to trade Jair Jurrjens or Martin Prado. So maybe this is just Fredi being Fredi:

LOLBraves! They keep saying different things. All off-season GM Frank Wren and Manager Fredi Gonzalez have said different things in the press. Now whether that's a lack of communication between the two of them or a deliberate use of misdirection to manipulate the media is the question. I tend to think it's the former rather than the latter.

My guess is that within the hour Frank Wren will make a statement which completely contradicts the one that Fredi made.
