Even though Jim Bowden isn't the greatest source, I just read an article where he thinks the Sox could trade Jed Lawrie and Josh Reddick for Andrew Bailey. Good lord, that's a good trade for the A's if it happens. If there's even a slight chance this scenario is close to true, we should trade Venters immediately for those same guys.

7. Red Sox trade Jed Lowrie and Josh Reddick for Oakland’s Andrew Bailey
If Red Sox GM Ben Cherington does not sign Madson, he will have to solve his closer problem through trade. Bailey is a logical choice, but his injury history does not bode well. Cherington will fill the void in right field if Reddick is dealt by signing Carlos Beltran.

This is No. 10 on his list of "could happen" trades:
10. The Braves trade Martin Prado to the Tigers for Delmon Young
Manager Fredi Gonzalez still wants a big bat in the middle of his lineup, and the Braves might have to circle back to a trade they already declined. Young would play left field in Atlanta and, if healthy, could be a 20-home run, 100-RBI player. Prado would play third base for the Tigers. However, this would weaken the Braves’ depth behind the injury-prone Chipper Jones. To take Young’s place in Detroit, the Tigers could sign Coco Crisp.
Braves.
Falcons.
Gamecocks.
There is so much fail in all of that, I cannot even find an appropriate picture.

Exacty. Bowden is an idiot. Probably why he's not a GM anymore.
Braves.
Falcons.
Gamecocks.
ehhh, let bowden say whatever. Braves just aren’t gonna trade Prado for Delmon Young straight up. Sure, I haven’t talked to Wren personally, but this is just common sense. If Wren trades Prado to the Tigers for Delmon Young, it will be a good prospect/prospecs coming to ATL as well.
I don’t care if Constanza hit .500 with 30 HRs and 150 RBI in 3 weeks, benching Heyward was a stupid decision.
