I am wondering why people don't think Swisher would be a good fit for left field? The Yankees need pitching, can afford to lose Swisher with one of the top offenses in the league, he is a switch hitter, and is good for 150 games/20+ home runs/high OBP. The Yankees would have to have some level of interest in Jurrjens and with an extremely weak starting pitching market might look to trade for SP depth. I think Swisher would be better than going after Quentin who is, the White Sox' most valuable trade chip.
Thoughts?
