Why?

for either side. Why would Texas give up a promising young arm, who won’t be arb eligible until after next season if I’m not mistaken, for an older, more expensive arm? Why would we want more pitching when we’re flush there, and need a SS and corner OF above all else?

to be fair, Venters didn’t become Venters until he figured out how to throw that turbo sinker…you never know whether he can succeed as the starter NOW
