Q & A with KJ from fangraphs
The $ quote-
DL: You were originally with the Atlanta Braves. Coming up through their system, was a specific hitting philosophy espoused, or did they mostly let guys be themselves?
KJ: There was no philosophy, that I [saw]. I felt like it was more, for them, either you can do it or you can’t
Sounds like a great approach by TP.

I dont think "up through their system" = TP
How much impact does the big league hitting coach have on the minors?
"He knows where he's throwing. If he didn't, there'd be dead bodies strewn all over Idaho." - Washington Senators scout on Walter Johnson
Reading the rest of KJ’s quotes, I’d say our system did a pretty good job of giving him the right hitter’s mentality.
