I was just asked on Twitter who my favorite Braves player was from the 1995 World Series team, and my answer, surprisingly enough, was Charlie O'Brien. I just loved that guy, Jerry Curl and all. And then I remember this SI cover, classic:
The fastest I've ever seen O'Brien run was during another brawl in Houston. Someone (I want to say it was also Cangelosi) was hit by Smoltz (the pitcher in the picture above) and charged the mound. O'Brien was in the bullpen and was leading the charge in from the pen to the mound in a full sprint. Dude was 250 lbs. and moving. If someone digs up a video of that I will promote them to blog overlord for a day.
