I'm sure a lot of you have seen the new WAR grids over on fangraphs. Right now only the hitters are up, but I thought this one that starts in 1990 for the Braves was pretty interesting. Sheffield and Drew with 8 WAR in one season. Only the Jones matched that over the time period. When you see some of the early teams' numbers it is a quick reminder how pitching dependent we were.
