Should the Braves Skip Mike Minor's Next Start?

Mike Minor’s next start is currently scheduled for Monday 9/27, the first game of a 3-game series against the Marlins at Turner Field.

There is an off-day on Thursday.

If Bobby Cox felt so inclined, he chould choose to skip Minor’s turn and start Tommy Hanson on Monday instead. Thanks to the off-day, Hanson would be pitching on regular 4-day rest.

Also, the Marlins have seen him before. Minor gave up 6 runs in 4 innings against the Marlins in Land Shark Stadium on September 5. He didn’t walk anybody and struck out 5, but he got bashed for 9 hits.

Not only that, but Minor has just been generally ineffective after his first promising four starts. In his last four starts, Minor is 0-2 with a 9.37 ERA. He's failed to reach the 5th inning in two of those starts and hasn't reached the 6th inning in any of them.

Bobby’s skipped Minor once before. Should he again?
