If it's Monday, then it's the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll. As always, this poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, and general playing ability on the field. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.

This poll was conducted before the Phillies series…wonder what it’ll be like afterwards. Anyhow, I voted 10. With a road sweep, the Braves are starting to look better. This series will play a large role in the last few games.

Sweeping the Mets was heartening, but I need to see that level of play continue against the Phils and Nats before I move my vote up to 8.

We have now already won as many games as last year and still have 12 to go. 2 of 3 from the Phils and we are right back in it. The minor leagues just keep producing.

The Braves are a playoff race and are relevant for the first time in a few years and people are voting less than an 8?? I’m completely baffled. It’s like you can’t satisfy Braves fans anymore due to 14 years of indulgence.

Management has been pretty good and you already know what to expect from Cox (good and bad), and I’m excited about the future of the Braves under Fredi Gonzalez. Not to mention our minor league system is pretty damn good. It’s as a whole people, not just how the Braves are currently doing.

This has been a wild season with many HIGHS and just as many lows, but the Braves have made moves to try and better the team. They haven’t all worked out the way we would liked, but I feel that management did the best without mortgaging the future.
