We may not know who the manager of the 2011 Atlanta Braves will be yet, but now we know the schedule. MLB and the Braves released their 2011 schedule tonight -- link here. The Braves will open the season on the road with three in Washington, then head to Milwaukee for a four-game set before heading home to face Philadelphia for a weekend set.
Interleague play runs from May to July with the Braves getting visits from Texas, Toronto, and Baltimore, and going on the road to Seattle and Los Angeles of Anaheim. This is yet another potentially easy interleague tilt, with only one of those AL teams being a playoff contender this year.
The Braves get a four-game break at the All-Star break -- the last couple of years it has only been a three-game break -- and open the second half this time hosting Washington for three games. The season ends as the 2010 season will end, with the Braves hosting the Phillies at Turner Field for three games.
It should be another exciting season of games for the Braves.
