Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence Falling Off The Cliff
It's as if the Braves have tried everything, and it's still not going right. The Braves pulled the old shortstop switch-a-roo. Then we bought the ACME Farnsworth-Ankiel Minimal Impact Two-For-One, and finally we tried the ACME overpriced injured over-the-hill veteran. And yet we keep slipping further and further off the edge.
The Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence plummeted this week, falling to it's lowest point since early May (when the Braves had that disastrous nine-game losing streak). This current stretch of awful play by Atlanta is just as bad as the nine-game losing streak -- according to the fans who vote in this poll.
The confidence rating dropped for the third straight week, going from 83% confidence on the 23rd of August to 78% confidence last week, to a paltry 67% confidence this week. Considering how terribly the Braves have played the last three series, I expect this number to drop even further before it starts to turn around (IF it starts to turn around).

Better to bottom out now
than in October. Just be glad the Phils are peaking now and we should catch them on our upswing and their dowturn.
Fan Confidence might drop after seeing who is batting 6th tonight
Lineup:
Infante
Heyward
Prado
McCann
Lee
MCLOUTH???
Gonzo
Melky
Minor
A WTF lineup.
Considering
that more rational lineups have utterly failed in the last 8-10 games, no point in not trying out new combinations. I’m even willing to try McLousy batting cleanup. Anything to shake up the woeful offense.
put Melky in center
then either Diaz or Hinski in left. Heward in right as usual. We need offense.
Is this not what we have been doing?

McLouth batting 6th?
Why isn’t McLousy embarrassed that Tim Hudson has a better batting average?
You guys do realize
We still have the 2nd best record in the NL, right?

any one of the could win 6 straight or loose 6 straight. If you think about it the diffrence between a GIDP and a base hit in the gap is only 3’

So which musician are you?

No team has ever overcome a 1-game deficit with over 20 games remaining. Ever. I defy you to prove me wrong, Captain.

as far as i know
the music group on the Titanic didn’t have a trumpet player.
:o)
When we are good..
we can beat ANYBODY.
When we are bad we lose to anybody.
Braves have the raw talent. They just need to rise to their natural potential.
But we play McLouth. Not sure if the braves overcome that.
Politicians are like diapers. They both need changing regularly and for the same reason.
McLouth actually hit the ball a few times he was up to bat recently!

problem is
he doesn’t get many hits with men on base. plus mostly singles. if he could hit singles for average then he could be our leadoff guy that gets on base and steals second. that’s what he used to be.
It is not this day.

What about
stopping the postseason pace analysis every day. Since that started, we stopped winning. TC controls the braves its obvious.
I hate to say this but
we started losing right when McClouth and Glaus got called back
Yeah, those two bench guys are the reason we suck.

I didn't say it was logical
but the timing is correct. Maybe lower team moral?
First time I remember
This is the first time I remember a Braves team that gets hot together and gets cold together. Generally players heat up and cool off over a season but other players pull for them when they are cold. Its like everyone hits there strides together. I think we still have a shot at the playoffs but if we dont start playing the game the way we should play then its gonna be another long offseason.
