Maybe Minor doing so well, along with Heyward, will give them more confidence in the rest of their young guys and prompt them to bring up Freeman.

never did i say

it far outweighs him. But to pick on him for looking “uninspired” when Hinske and McCann both had the same expressions was a bit unfair.

yep

annd Hinske has been pretty much the same. Good in April and May. Nothing special since

McCann started slow in April but has been OPSing over .800 since then.

Its just funny to me that Troy could be slumping for 6 weeks and still be at the top of the teams leaders in production

by drumzalicious on Aug 9, 2010 11:02 PM EDT up reply actions

and if you're willing to put

we lose road games no matter what

by UltimaParadox on Aug 9, 2010 10:54 PM EDT up reply actions

We didn’t lose to him. We got 4 off of him, and if our bullpen and defense wouldn’t have blown it, it would’ve been enough to win.

You know, I want to feel bad about all these bloops

And while they’re frustrating to happen at the same time, we’ve certainly been on the good side of some bloop hits and untimely errors by the other team. I mean that whole 7 run 9th inning against the Reds doesn’t happen if the 3B gets the ball out of his glove.

exactly

Every team benefits from bloop hits over the year. Face it – we lost the game – the other team scored 10 runs – doesnt matter how they got em – they got the hits to win.

Not sure

but he has 5 in 23 games, so pretty bad either way

by UltimaParadox on Aug 9, 2010 11:02 PM EDT up reply actions

Amazing we’re still in first place with stats like that. We better FOCUS the rest of this series.

I agree. The trade with the Royals was a net zero trade. NO IMPROVEMENT.

by llabyug on Aug 9, 2010 11:27 PM EDT up reply actions

agreed

but we didnt really give up anything to make me upset either…and ankiel’s offense hasnt been so good…but his range is better than melkys…so thats something i guess

At least we have two more chances to win the series

I’m going to stick with the Bobby mantra. As long as we keep winning series, we’ll be okay.

Ok what happened, just got home and was watching my espn mvp game cast and all a sudden they scored six runs. any 1 want to tell me how the 6 run inning happened? Thank you

by PhuckthePhillies on Aug 9, 2010 11:09 PM EDT reply actions

Wait what? ANOTHER FREAKIN INSIDE THE PARKER?

Was it Farnsworth or mainly Moylan?

by PhuckthePhillies on Aug 9, 2010 11:17 PM EDT up reply actions

Farnsworth left the bases loaded and Moylan gave up two singles

the second after a series of error, all the runners scored = 4 runs, just like a inside park Grand slam

by joshant on Aug 9, 2010 11:21 PM EDT up reply actions

Sorry to be so annoying but what were the series of errors? ESPN MVP was all jacked up

by PhuckthePhillies on Aug 9, 2010 11:34 PM EDT up reply actions

Oh lord McCann ha ha. Was that the only error in the inning.

Is it just me or has Moylan just really sucked when brought in to get a double play. Last couple seasons he was awesome and was an almost guaranteed DP

by PhuckthePhillies on Aug 9, 2010 11:51 PM EDT up reply actions

Chavez > Farnsworth

Not even he would’ve done this.
