The Braves' slogan is "This is Braves County," and this got me to thinkin'.
There are many, many members of this on-line community we know as Talking Chop. Each time I read through the comments, I notice that many of the community members reside outside of the State of Georgia (and post comments at insane EST hours), where I currently call home.
I was born and raised in the South and have called the Braves my team for all 29 years of my life (yes...even as an infant). I still remember trips to Atlanta Fulton County Stadium for getting straight-As and walking around the field as a little league player, to name a couple of fond memories. I have lived and breathed Braves baseball my entire life, but that is partly because they were/are the closest team and my dad was a huge fan.
But this scenario is not necessarily the case for many on TC. One of my best friends is a huge Braves fan, but he grew up outside of Portland, Oregon. The combination of his Dad's loyalty and TBS made him a quick fan. So, out of curiosity, where do you call home? How did you begin following the Bravos?
