Around SBN: Are The Orioles Bad Or Unlucky With Their Young Pitching?

Phillies@Dodgers OT 8/31

The Phillies game starts in under 10 minutes, and Ben hasn't posted about our game yet, so use this to chat about the Phuckers/Dodgers if you so choose.

Meanwhile, we won big, and DRoss is yet again, awesome. I also love how on his triple, SNY was excusing it to Beltran's legs. Yes, he could've caught it, but you have to give Ross credit for running all the way.

mvhsbball says: Also, keep an eye out for MLBTR. There's a chance Glaus may be moved

Chat away

Other games of note:

Cliff Lee got rocked by KC,

Haren vs. King Felix out in Seattle

Det and Min in a good, close game

Col/SF has two young studs pitching

Also keep an eye on MLBTR

there’s a chance Troy could get moved tonight. If I’m FW, I’d make the move if we got a B+ prospect.

Im not withholding props from Brees he is the better player. The difference is Pierre Thomas scoring rushing Td’s inside the ten. The saints more balanced, someone predicting a rebound for Brady to Moss might say Brady would throw a few more TDs

no it wasn't

I said brady had a small chance to outproduce brees, because the pats cant run in the red zone, and that i still thought Brees was better and the better fantasy pick. Brees has never thrown for more than 34 touchdowns, that’s not impossible for Brady to far surpass, since he’s thrown for fucking 50

I don't think he's

way better… I like Brees… and I followed him when he was at Purdue too… I just don’t understand how you can possibly have a real argument about him being better than Peyton when almost every objective statistical evaluation goes to Peyton…

“On a per-game basis, Manning’s WPA is +0.22 Wins/G, and Brees’ is +0.16 Wins/G. Manning’s EPA per game is +7.1 Points/G, and Brees’ is +4.4 Points/G”

Then there’s those 4 MVP awards.. he has a higher career QB percentage… Peyton’s never missed a game… Higher TD%… Higher TD+… Higher Cmp+…Higher Rate+…

What do you want?

Yardage wise

Brees is hurt by 2003 but his career average is 3803 vs Peyton’s 4180. TD/INT 25-13 vs 30-7. Accuracy is identical and Peyton with the slight edge in Rating.

Brees was killed by San Diego. I have no issue with Peyton being No.1, but the nonsense that its hands down, is silly.

Ahhh...
I'm looking forward to it. Utah F'ed everything up by leaving for the Pac-10. If they hadn't left, we'd not only have an automatic bid when they are reassigned next year, but we'd probably have been the third best conference in the nation.

Your night life should be dedicated to the TC community on gameday!
