The point I was making was that while it’s true that our attendance isn’t great, you’d think that an area with ~15-20 million people could sell out a 50,000 seat stadium on a nightly basis.

Braves attendance really should be better, considering. I mean, yes, Atlanta is a pain and all, but a first place team with 6 all stars, the game’s best young player, and a retiring HOF manager should be able to top 20,000 even on weeknights.

Well, it's for the incorporated NYC limits

which includes all 5 burrows, not just Manhattan. The NYC Metro area is 19+ million, from Bridgeport to Newark.

Depends on the definition of sell-out

for black-out purposes they cut it off at like 94% or somewhere there. Certainly, we didn’t sell 100% of available seats, but we also didn’t encounter local black-outs. At least, I got to watch every game locally except for the game I went to.

It’s beautiful. The field, the setting, the whole thing. Take time to see the whole area of the Embarcadero around Justin Herman Plaza and the Ferry Terminal. That kept drawing me back day after day.

That was part of it too. he went back to switch gloves. But Carp only had to wait like 2 seconds.

If he wanted to get on the guy fine, but there was a better way to do it out of sight.

he was coming home, play at the plate, he lowers his shoulder and RAMS into the florida catcher, and the catcher is out for a while. all when he could’ve slid and been safe.
