ooooh I feel sorry for any Braves fan who had to witness that in person. I can’t imagine the crap you must have been getting from fans around you

Not a lot of crap; I sat behind the Braves dugout and there was quite the representation of Braves fans around me. Mainly just heard moans and a few sobs. It was very maddening in person though.

I thought...

We were all trying to avoid permanent documentation of yesterday’s debacle… Pictures are the worst form of preservation in this case!

agreed although I suppose this isn’t quite as bad since it’s from the first inning. any picture of the 4th inning or later should be immediately destroyed

We'll just

Point to the random Cubs hat and say this was our 16-5 win over the Cubbies.

Hmmm...

Not a bad seat though.

especially, since the ticket was free.

Yep...

If it’s free, it’s for me. Haha.

i remember that game, it was very painful to watch that

the worst was in my country (Panama), the tv never shows Braves games right now. they only shows Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies (Carlos Ruiz) and rarely Astros games (Carlos Lee). The tv here really sucks, but they decided to show that game, i remember when Mets tied the game i turned off the TV

This Game

this game...

IT NEVER HAPPENED!

I really want to go to Coors. It’s such a gorgeous park.

I wrote a novel, it's about baseball, you should buy it:

Agreed, ’cept I go about once every week or so.

It really is a fun ballpark, and the Rockies are an incredibly fun team to watch when they aren’t beating the Braves.

There’s usually a lot larger crowd than you see in the picture, but the Rockies were more or less considered done for the season prior to this sweep. Tracy read them the riot act on their away series prior to this, and it looks like the team took it to heart (altho they always play well at home). Wednesday day game probably didn’t help attendance, as you don’t see a ton of people here taking off work for games.

If ever you come this way, let me know and I’ll lay out some of the must-see stuff downtown.

It’s rough to sit through these games and not have someone that can’t hit a Ball?

The game we do not speak of!
