They managed to take the most unflattering picture of Jamie Moyer’s daughters as they possibly could.

So…basically his sense of fashion is just to grab everything in the closet and put it all on at once…

I wrote a novel, it's about baseball, you should buy it:

Tool Time Indeed

The only thing that could make that weaker, is a Mets/Phillies mud wrestling contest.

Damn, I thought this was a Home Improvement thread

I love me some Jill Taylor

So

It’s a nice thing that Victorino did. However, every picture I saw of him made me want to punch him in the face that much more.

Seems kinda weird that you’re looking up Phillies stuff and posting it here. I mean, it would be a little less strange if you actually lived in Philly…but you live in TN, and are a Braves fan. And this is a Braves blog. Oh well, I’m def no expert on logic; I go to the same hellhole of a job every day thinking something good will come out of it.

No one ever accused me...

of not being kinda weird/strange.

It’s just the sort of thing I thought some people might like to fuel their disdain for the Phillies. Sorry if it is out of place.

I never once

said it was out of place. Certainly never used the words “off topic”. Never asked for/expected any sort of apology (unlike when someone takes credit for my pics). Never said it shouldn’t be posted. Was merely musing, as people are wont to do from time to time in an open forum, that I found it odd to my own personal sense (which I openly admit is whacked). I clearly did not say, “THIS POST SHOULD NOT BE HERE”, which I would’ve simply stated if I had thought that. But as you see, I did not. People are going to have their own individual & unique perception of something based on their individual circumstances and situations, and when you choose to post something in an open forum, you are going to get those varying responses. I thought you were one of those people who understood that going in, and that’s the only reason I submitted my thoughts on it. Unfortunately you seem to have taken it as a personal attack on you, which was not at all the intent.

If you had actually put in the post, “here’s some further fuel for your disdain of the Phillies…” , it probably would’ve affected me a different way (would’ve agreed with your apt title, thought, “well, at least the little bung-hole [Victorshmini] is doing something good for the community”, and moved on) – but don’t read into that either, I’m not saying I’m here to tell anyone how to write, especially just to my satisfaction. Hell, I can’t even do that. That’s why I take pictures instead.

And I’ve never called RH’s “TRIOMB” strange or “off topic” either. I also never compared your post to “TRIOMB”. I wouldn’t do that…they’re not comparable, in my opinion, like apples and broccoli.

Also...

I don’t think it’s any stranger or more “off topic” than royhobbs weekly “things read in other mom’s basements”, but I may be wrong. It would not be the first time, nor sadly, the last.

I don’t think it’s all that out of place, frankly. It’s a division rival, and it’s not like other people haven’t posted off-topic baseball things.
