Is perceived footspeed because u don’t need a jumper to play SF, but good day we won
by Truthspitter on Aug 11, 2010 4:57 PM EDT up reply actions
Or a handle...
that’s pretty important too, especially if you lack the jumper. You can play SF with a good outside shot and no handle (see Courtney Lee, Kyle Korver, etc), or a good handle and no outside shot (see Andre Iguodola, etc), but not without both. Josh lacks both offensively, and the lateral quickness defensively. He’s got the game of a C, that is pretty obvious, if just not the size or toughness for it.
You should really apologize for that inappropriate remark

I see u typing
But just because you are okay with someone saying stfu, does not mean it should be thrown around and giving any more leadway than anything else. That’s the problem with people trying to be fair, what offends one, is okay with another and vice versa, but I am now happy as we should win this one 4-2 baby
by Truthspitter on Aug 11, 2010 4:49 PM EDT up reply actions
Yes, it is a bit of a double standard
But such is the case of promoting a community and the familiarity of what develops in a community. Not saying newcomers should sit back and defer to the rest of the community, but at least take the time to sit back and observe, instead of throwing around inflammatory remarks that will likely draw you the ire of others.

I’m here now…time for runs
im gonna just say it right now, if we put KK back in the rotation, we are done. Sports as a whole is about winning. Winning is everything, regardless of how good a guy may be, its all about winning championships. KK is not, i repeat not a winner.

that error game in san fran, an infield hit today
smh and plus they are only 1 run saves so he doesnt have much marginal for errors

i know we're in a pennant race...
but come on people. Wagner’s ERA is still only 1.78 and you want a different closer. You have to be kidding me!? He is still the best pitcher in the bullpen IMO. It has been these damn rick flairs (whooooo) that are killing us.
we haven't been particularly good in extra innings have we? anyone have our record?

Let's go Braves!!! Donald Rumsfeld commands it!
Politicians are like diapers. They both need changing regularly and for the same reason.
It's obviously never going to happen
but would be awesome if they amended the rules for getting a W to scorer’s discretion about which pitcher pitched most effectively, as they sometimes do with relievers now. that way, if something like this happened, and the braves won in extra innings, hanson could still be credited.
this would also increase the meaning of a W somewhat, even if it doesn’t compensate for lousy run support.
pipe dream, but still nice to think about.
Fox just flashed the extra innings records for both teams.
Depressing. :(
What is both surprising and delightful is that spectators are allowed, and even expected, to join in the vocal part of the game.... Just think what he could've done with those 14 division chamnpionships and Greg Maduxx, Tom Glavine and John Smoltz if he would've had the chance. And when he did have the chance, he outmanaged bobby Cox's @#$% at every turn. Or have you forgottenn that the Braves became the first time in baseball history to lose the World Series whenever they lead 3- 1? And whom did the lose too? sorry if I went over the line, and as great as you guys do with this place I wouldn’t want to tell you how to run it. Was just expressing my thoughts that it seems y’all are a bit too nice with obvious trolls.
