Does Jeff really expect to play every day on any club with those kinds of numbers? I am glad the Braves traded him and I wanted to see him do well in his career, but this just seems like more of the same type of childish behavior. If your numbers warrant you playing every day, then you'll generally play every day. Otherwise, you'll be sent down to AAA to try to fix your swing, or you'll be put in a platoon role or benched for someone with more promise. To be as charismatic a guy as Francoeur is, you would think he would've learned somewhere along the way how to handle adversity. On the other hand, though, I guess when you've always been the best your entire life and have never had to worry about being benched, the first few times you encounter it, you act like a child. Grow up, Jeff.
