One could argue that the Atlanta Braves do not have one single "threat" to steal a base. (cept maybe j-hey) but as a life-long Braves fan and Georgia native, I've watched the braves very carefully this year, along with other teams, and cannot help but think how great the braves would be with a leadoff speed kind of guy like jose reyes. I LOVE MARTIN in the leadoff hole but everyone knows he will not steal.  With this being said, Carl Crawford, will be a free agent this summer.....I do believe Carl Crawford would single handedly bring the Atl Braves a World Series (Of course with their already Championship caliber team), merchandise sales, jersey sales, and several thousands of more people in the seats, the man is great to see and if you haven't I would highly recommend it.  With Chip possibly coming off the books.... even though hes been swinging the bat pretty well as of late, but , the Atlanta Braves owners will never spend the money it would take to get Crawford. It would give us the luxury to Move Prado back down to the 2 , J-hey to the 3, b-Mac 4, and F Squared at the 5, .....I seem to think Chipper retiring would possibly be the best thing for the braves.....Their lineup as is, is way out of whack, I mean J-Hey's tools are not being used when in the 2-hole, and yes Prado is a great lead-off but clearly not your everyday one hitter.....All-in Alll, Who realistically do you think the Braves should target for next years leadoff, or speed threat.......................Or who do you see them getting.....Ithought Pods would have been a great pickup,  for the rest of the year, but nothing was done to address our speed ....Ankiel, yeah his speed is ok and helps but he has to get on base to show it.
