I want to, but right now, I do NOT believe in their offense.

I don't know shit about baseball.

It was a fail, but if the triple (that should have been kept to a double) didn’t happen it would be tied and we may still be playing.

maybe ankiel will bring his juice to the lineup… and by juice…

by lund123 on Aug 1, 2010 4:04 PM EDT up reply actions

It's their park

that is why Alex gad 17 homers by the All-Star break

If Jason Heyward were to hit a home run off of you, you would have to fight the urge to thank him.

I haven’t been this mad at the team all year. What complete horse shit. Two days in a row defense has fucked us in the ass combined with a complete lack of ability to hit the ball with people on base. Fucking hell.

by BullManUGA on Aug 1, 2010 4:03 PM EDT via mobile reply actions

I feel the same.

Frustrating to watch. I am used to the offense sucking at times. But damn the defense. Errors cost us a few games on this trip

by asset on Aug 1, 2010 4:05 PM EDT up reply actions

Yep

the passed ball (but got to blame that on Wags) in FL
and then the two Tommy Hanson starts

If we somehow wins these 3, we’ll all be here saying how good this team is to win 3 road series in a row

by LEastCoastBears on Aug 1, 2010 4:07 PM EDT up reply actions

Definitely a frustrating road trip

on the bright side, we still have a lead in the NL East
a solid homestand (which means better than that last one) will make us all feel that much better in a hurry

umps are cheating the nationals

by lund123 on Aug 1, 2010 4:07 PM EDT reply actions

This team is FUCKING PATHETIC!!!

Seems to me like we can’t catch a break anywhere. The Reds catch one break, and it happens to be with a runner on third. Us… no way… all we know how to do is strand an ass-ton of runners all day long. Sorry… that’s my rant. This team makes me sick.

by Ace_of_Braves on Aug 1, 2010 4:08 PM EDT reply actions

Absolutely right

and shitty defense has been the cause of a few losses. Can’t let that happen when you aren’t hitting for shit

by asset on Aug 1, 2010 4:12 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah man this would be big if they could get this

by lund123 on Aug 1, 2010 4:09 PM EDT reply actions

u watching the game? he is was out on the steal

by lund123 on Aug 1, 2010 4:09 PM EDT reply actions

damn it

we should have sacrificed Roy Hobbs or Ben

by Erihury on Aug 1, 2010 4:10 PM EDT reply actions

Man, do the debbie downers come out of the wood works or what? Seriously people, we are still in first place and have 14 out of the next 17 games at home. This stuff happens. I still believe in this team and so should you. They can’t win them all!

by BravesDawg16 on Aug 1, 2010 4:12 PM EDT reply actions

This.

Some times you just have to let out your frustrations. But we are still in first and its not over till its over and today wasn’t the end

by asset on Aug 1, 2010 4:15 PM EDT up reply actions

Agreed.

I just needed to let it out. Every time we lose games like this, it makes me sick to my stomach. We’re better than this. Good things need to start happening again.

by Ace_of_Braves on Aug 1, 2010 4:16 PM EDT up reply actions

And they will

Lest we forget the month of April when the sky was falling! Then May and June rolled around and we couldn’t lose a series! Baseball is cyclical and if this is the worst the Braves are gonna do, then I can’t wait for the stretch run!
