Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence Poll

Even Coke tried something "New" once. If it's Monday, then it's the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll "Classic." As always, this poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, and general playing ability on the field. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.

Poll
On a scale of 1-to-10, with 10 being "100 percent confident," and 1 being "no confidence at all," how confident are you in the Atlanta Braves organization?

I’m 100% confident in the Braves, so there it is.

The health of Glaus and Heyward keeps me from voting higher as does Bobby Cox conceding the 3rd game of series with his makeshift lineups if the Braves win the first 2 games.

But...

Is that what earns us the first two in many of the following series?

I'm a 7 still

There are too many questions about the long term strength of this team in a number of positions. What do we do with the closer position next year? How about third base if Chipper retires? Who’s going to be our manager? When will Esocobar put it all together and play like his talent commands?

  • Kimbrel/Venters/Moylan (in that order, IMO)
  • Escobar, Glaus, or Hinske (ditto)
  • Fredi
  • Have you been watching the kid on defense?

Staying at 8

When Heyward and Glaus get back in the line-up, I will probably feel confident enough to go up to a 9.
I’m still very optimistic about this team, even though we’ve lost a couple of games lately. Our back up guys are coming off the bench and playing good for the most part.
