Its the beginning of July and the rumors are sure to heat up for trades and such so here is a fresh thread to go crazy in.

One thing to keep in mind is that about half of our lineup is underachieving and we are still 3rd in the league in runs scored. So with that said if all of those guys (Chip, McCann, Escobar, Heyward) can get back to their old ways thats like making 4 big trades right there.

I'm still under the belief that we should grab a CF'er and not depend on McLouth getting back to his 2008 numbers. I say CF because Hinske and Cabrera/Diaz has been great for us in LF so I don't really see the need for a LF'er. Either way here are some names that have been thrown around

B.J. Upton

Carl Crawford

Franklin Gutierrez - another favorite

Jose Bautista - not a fan

Also some have speculated trading for Cliff Lee as well.
