Prado Has Broken Knuckle On Pinkie, Out 7-10 Days
This isn't exactly good news, but it could have been much worse. Let's all wish him a speedy recovery.
The Braves haven't decided yet whether to place Martin on the DL. They will decide in a day or two.
Still no news--or even rumors, really--on the trade front.

Should be able to withstand his absence for a week or 2.
Dodgers and Rays after Luke Scott....
Thank god the Braves aren’t interested in adding an OPS over .900 to the outfield mix.
Dang...
Well at least he’ll be well rested when he comes back.
The Braves..

This isn't really that big of a deal.
This is exactly why it’s good to have a guy like Infante. Whenever someone goes down, his availability minimizes the damage.
The only time the Mets win is in the offseason.
DL him, you got a 3.5 lead. Give him all the time he needs to heal, 3 weeks max, so his hitting recovers fully.
You got Infante and Conrad who are capable backups.
Bring up Willie Cabrera onto the 40man and onto the roster for a bit if you have to, give him a tryout. (I’m assuming no trade happens)
On the Willy Band Wagon
Seems like we got our wish. Cabrera heading to AAA today. I know hes not a 20+ HR guy yet but he did have 16HRs last year. What ive seen is that he plays pretty well at the plate. Very smart and pitch selective. Very little Ks in his history. We need more guys like that, im happy to see hes progressing through our farm system. We tend to give away good hitters like elvis andrews, flowers, and a guy that was leadoff dont remember his name but he played CF. All these guys played together in myrtle. Cabrera was a 40man roster guy but not sure why he got bumped off. Im looking forward to follow hes career in AAA. Hes exciting to watch, one of those players that give you goose bumps when hes batting, you know he will hit it somewhere everytime
