So in my ultimate depression of a Atlanta Braves off night, i am sitting here taking in a Tiger vs Rays game and the thought has suddenly tugged at me that Carl Crawford will be a free agent at the end of this season. With the possibility of Chipper Jones retiring, do yall think we have much of a chance to sign Crawford? He seems like a good fit to our LF situation and gives us a base stealer we havent had(but not necessarily needed) lately. I know some teams will be able to throw some more money his way; however, with Chip's money off the books i think its a legitamate thought that we can put some money together to throw his way.
A top of the order like that is enough to get anybody excited i do believe. Let me know what all yall think??
