If he’s in the clubhouse advising these guys and playing cheerleader for the rest of the season, it wouldn’t hurt us too much. Our offense doesn’t revolve around him like it used to.

I respect Chipper greatly

He’s a HOF, and he’s had a great career. I’m just indifferent to him and his production. Having Heyward pound the ball around the field is more important at this point, and getting some production out of the OF & SS.

The announcer just said, Brian the Cannon, in reference to him having an arm, and said it like that is his nickname normally.

This was an unusual game for McCann, and I’ve definitely not heard him called Brian the Cannon…..well….EVER.
