PrintHey guys! I don't post on here often but I read this site daily. I live in South Dakota and will be making short 5 hour drive up north into "Twins Territory" as they call it. Twins fans are obnoxious especially the last time I was up there when the Braves visited the Dome and got swept. I have been to 6 Braves games and they are 2-4 with me in the stands.... not so good. 2-1 at Home, 0-3 on the road.
Games I have seen...
- Braves vs Diamondbacks - (8/14/05) W 13-8... WP - M. Hampton LP - J. Vazquez
- Braves vs Dodgers - (8/17/05) W 10-2... WP - T. Hudson LP - O. Perez
- Braves vs Padres - 8/19/05) L 12-7.... WP - C. Park LP - M. Hampton
- Braves at Twins - (6/12/07) L 3-7.... WP - K. Slowey LP - K. Davies
- Braves at Twins - (6/13/07) L 0-6.... WP - C. Silva (complete game shutout) LP - C. James
- Braves at Twins - (6/14/07) L 2-3.... WP - D. Reyes (starter was J. Santana) LP - Bob Wickman (Big Bob blew the save after T. Hudson gave us 7.1 of shutout ball)
note - Yes you are seeing this correctly! I saw Mike Hampton pitch for the Braves twice.. a near impossible feat yet i pulled it off!
Probable Match-ups this weekend...
- Braves at Twins - (7:10 game) T. Hudson (6-1, 2.30) vs F. Liriano ( 5-3, 3.39)... two aces go at it!
- Braves at Twins - (6:10 game) D. Lowe (8-4, 4.44) vs N. Blackburn (6-2, 4.73)... two sinker ballers coming off bad outings
- Braves at Twins - (1:10 game) K. Medlen (3-1,2.79) vs K. Slowey (6-3, 3-84)... I love this matchup for Medlen!
Just thought i would make a post for the first time in a long time and let you all know what ill be up to this weekend. Anyone else gonna be at this series?

I’ll be at all 3. If 2007 was any indication, there will be a LOT of Braves fans in attendance, although maybe not as many as last time due to the greater difficulty in rounding up tickets.

2007 was brutal and game 3… I had just turned 21 and I’m sort of a mouth cocky guy when it comes to my Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons and Iowa Hawkeyes…. Lets just say the guys on the tram wanted to whoop my ass and my girl was embarrassed.
I went cheap and got a Heyward shirt (cant justify buy a jersey yet) and picked up a fresh new New Era hat so I’m ready to go!

Spent close to a hundred on the tix, but that’s only 2 games. Saturday’s tix are with a friend in their seats.
So really I’m in for less than 400 even with Mpls parking rates.

damn man! Good job! This is a weekend vacation for the girl too bc the rest of my year is gonna be really busy with work. Didnt help i had to get my tickets off of stubhub.com bc i forgot to get them early… stupid me

Yeah, we got ours through Stubhub, because the series was nearly sold out during the presale the day before tix went on sale officially. Thankfully, my friend had the pass to get in the presale, so we bought tix for Saturday that we’re eventually not going to need. So now I have to sell them.

I was thinking about sticking around and trying to get some tickets for Sundays game too. Does anyone know how easy it is to get tickets outside the stadium?

what shitty weather we are gonna have though!!!!! I drive up from SD tomorrow morning and leave Sunday but its supposed to rain Thursday, Friday, Saturday! Only sunny day is Sunday!
