Braves Minor League Open Thread: 6/7
Introducing what will hopefully be a new daily feature here at Talking Chop: The Minor League Open Thread. This will be a good week to start it off, as the Big League Braves don't start most of there games until late at night. Each day this week, we'll post the games and start times for each Braves minor league team, as well as the starting pitcher and any other pertinent info. After the jump we'll have a Braves Minor League related Twitter feed. Please e-mail me suggestions of any other Twitter accounts to include in the feed if you notice a Braves Minor League related one that's not there. Also, let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see included in these threads. So here we go:
Gwinnett Braves
Game time: 7:05pm
Starting pitcher: Todd Redmond (5-5, 4.41)
Mississippi Braves
Game time: 7:05pm
Starting pitcher: Richard Sullivan (1-5, 6.54)
Myrtle Beach Pelicans
Game time: 7:05pm
Starting pitcher: Brett Oberholtzer (2-3, 5.03)
Note: Scott Proctor will join the Pelicans today to continue his minor league rehab. He last pitched for Gwinnett on April 23rd, and was then sent to the Braves complex in Orlando for extended spring training and rehab.
Rome Braves
Game time: 7:05pm
Starting pitcher: Arodys Vizcaino (8-3, 2.52)

Can we have a CyborgHanson twitter feed? That would be awesome.

Too many Open threads tonight! Salcedo went 2-3 with a steal and 2 walks tonight. His patience has been really impressive so far.
Nice. Signing him was such a steal. He’s gonna be so good… eventually.
